Celebrate the magic of the season by creating your own festive yule log—a beautiful candle holder made with natural materials. Use it as a centerpiece, then honor the ancient tradition of burning it on the Winter Solstice (December 21), the year’s shortest and darkest day. We'll first explore how we can weave the symbolism of the winter solstice into our busy lives and consider some intentions to honor this seasonal shift. Then you'll decorate, enjoy a refreshing drink, and receive a beeswax candle to complete your log. All materials are provided. Spots are limited, registration is required.
Sunday, December 7th, 3-4:30 pm inside the Center for Rural History (red barn with barn quilt)
$20 per person
