Join us every Monday from 10–11:30 am for a morning of play, exploration, and connection designed for children and their caregivers.
Note: No sessions on February 23 or March 23
Kids on the Farm is a drop-in program that invites families to experience the joy of child-led, open-ended activities in a beautiful natural setting. This is a wonderful chance to meet other families, build your village, and enjoy the magic of multi-age play. This program is free, but donations are always appreciated to help support future programming. For the winter months, we'll be gathering in the Center for Rural History (red building with barn quilt). Let’s play the old-fashioned way - freely and together!
Special School's Out Session: Friday April 3rd from 10-11:30 am
In addition to our regular toys, open play, and art in the Center for Rural History, we'll have special activities geared toward school aged children to celebrate National Dandelion Day (which is April 5th)! All ages welcome; an adult must be present. Drop in, no registration needed.
Special Evening Sessions: Tuesday, March 31st and Tuesday, April 28th from 6-7 pm
Join us for these special evening sessions with Dane County Parks for an animal meet and greet opportunity! DCP Staff will bring 2 ambassador animals to explore the concept of adaptations. All ages welcome; an adult must be present. Drop in, no registration needed.
We are passionate about making our events accessible to people of all needs and abilities. If you have any questions and/or need special accommodations, please do not hesitate to contact us!
