LINE DANCE LESSONS

Join us this spring for Line Dance Lessons! These common dances are popular at weddings and other events. Have you ever been afraid to step onto the dance floor because you don't know the dance? Solve that problem and join us for lessons to learn the basic steps.

We are offering a set of four sessions on April 4th, 11th, 18th, and 25th from 7-8 p.m. at Schumacher Farm Park. $10 per class or $35 for all four. Registration open soon, stay tuned.

April 4: Electric Slide; Cupid Shuffle

April 11: Cowboy Charleston, Twist ‘Em

April 18: Haunted Heart, Waltz Across Texas

April 25: Red Hot Salsa; Cumbria Semana

Lessons will be taking place indoors in the Center for Rural History. Capacity is limited.

Instructor: Nancy Vidlak learned her first line dance 25 years ago. She and her husband dance every chance they get to country, swing and ballroom tunes. They love the dance community in Dane County and, before COVID-19 restrictions, would dance 3-4 nights a week!

Whether you are brand new, want to learn some new dances, or just want to move and dance to old favorites, Line Dance Lessons are a great opportunity to enjoy time outdoors and be active with fellow dance lovers.

Dancers of all abilities are welcome. Wear comfortable shoes or boots, and dress for the weather.
