MONARCH CONSERVATION

Join Master Gardener, Gae Bergmann, as she talks about the life of a Monarch butterfly and conservation efforts. Attendees will learn about the Monarch life cycle, why milkweed is necessary to that cycle, Monarch rearing efforts, and how to make their property a more inviting habitat to butterflies.

After the presentation, we will search for Monarch eggs and caterpillars around the farmyard gardens and along prairie edges.
