MAPLE SYRUP WORKSHOP

Please note, maple sap is weather dependent. This workshop may need to be rescheduled on short notice depending on the conditions of the trees and the weather. If this occurs, we will contact you to discuss next steps.

Explore the magic of creating maple syrup! Instructor Mary Binkley will demonstrate and discuss how to make maple syrup in your own backyard. This includes how to identify maples, tools needed, tapping a tree, boiling the sap, and ends with finishing the syrup and getting to sample it. Children love the whole process and are welcome to sign up with an adult, yet be mindful that younger kids' level of participation may be limited throughout the process for safety. General handouts will be available. Registration is required. 

$10 per person (ages 5+)

Refunds/Cancellations:

Program fees are refundable when:

• The acitvity is cancelled by Schumacher Farm Park
• The participant cancels for a medical reason (a physician's note is required)
• The participant un-enrolls 7 or more days prior to the beginning of the activity
