Saturday, February 27th starts at 6:00 pm
The Snow Moon or Hunger Moon will be shining bright and full on the evening of February 27th. Join us to walk the prairie trails during this evening. Learn from natuarlists about what other cultures call this moon and what planets are visible at this time of year. Practice using senses other than your sight to navigate the night. Limited lighting along the trail will be provided.
Wear warm layers and sturdy winter boots. Visitors are welcome to bring their own snowshoes.

Advance registration required. Please sign up for a time slot to walk the trails in order to maintain social distancing guidelines. Start times are available every 15 minutes. The hike will take approximately 30 minutes. Please arrive 5 minutes prior to your start time. Park on the blacktop by the visitor center.
