Line Dance Lessons - June sessions

Join us in June for Line Dance Lessons!

We are offering another set of four sessions on Mondays in June from 7:00-8:00 p.m. at Schumacher Farm Park. $10 per class or $35 for all four.

Dance selection will be guided by registrants. If people are mostly new to line dancing, we can repeat some of the same dances from the April session. If there are many of the same people, we can review some, if not all, of the first dances and then add new dances the next couple of weeks.

Dances from the April session:

1st week: Electric Slide; Cupid Shuffle

2nd week: Cowboy Charleston, Twist ‘Em

3rd week: Haunted Heart, Waltz Across Texas

4th week: Red Hot Salsa; Cumbria Semana

Lessons will be taking place indoors in the Center for Rural History. Capacity is limited.

Instructor: Nancy Vidlak learned her first line dance 25 years ago. She and her husband dance every chance they get to country, swing and ballroom tunes. They love the dance community in Dane County and, before COVID-19 restrictions, would dance 3-4 nights a week!

Whether you are brand new, want to learn some new dances, or just want to move and dance to old favorites, Line Dance Lessons are a great opportunity to enjoy time outdoors and be active with fellow dance lovers.

Dancers of all abilities are welcome. Wear comfortable shoes or boots, and dress for the weather.
