Join us in the historic farmyard to learn all about horseradish! After a frost is the best time to harvest this root vegetable. After meeting in the Historic Farmhouse, we'll head to the Heirloom Garden to learn how horseradish grows and how to harvest it. Then, we'll head back into the Farmhouse to learn how to prepare it, while enjoying hot apple cider and a horseradish appetizer. We'll also have jars of horseradish available to take home for a suggested donation. This event is free and family friendly!
Date: Saturday, December 7th, 1 - 3 pm
Location: Historic Farmhouse (we'll also be heading outdoors, so please dress accordingly)
