Friends of Schumacher Farm Administrator (Part-time): The person in this position would be involved in addressing a variety of different tasks and have substantial autonomy, with weekly guidance and oversight from the Board of Directors. The Friends of Schumacher Farm Administrator reports to the Friend's Board of Directors (Board) and serves as the "face of the park", leading operations, services, programs, and activities for Schumacher Farm Park. This leadership position covers rental facility management, communications, volunteer/member engagement, community outreach, public relations, marketing, and office administration. The Friends of Schumacher Farm Administrator is the leader of a team of staff and/or contracted employees who together carry out the directives of the Board to meet the needs of the park. Average of 20 hours/week.


Apprentice for Heritage Foodways Workshops - Opportunity to work alongside Steve Keip on the Wood Stove Cooking Workshops, Holiday Teas, and Heritage Fest. Position purpose is to have a second person who can conduct additional workshops, and possibly create new ways to show off the wood stove. The right individual would be a reasonably good cook with excellent organizational and planning skills. These workshops don't just happen, there is a lot of planning that goes into a successful one.
