Schumacher Farm Park

COMPLETE THE FARM CAMPAIGN

It has been the Friends’ vision to build an antique machinery storage and display building and we are excited to partner with you on this next chapter as we make this vision a reality. The State of Wisconsin has approved the architectural drawings
and we are making good progress on the Dane County Parks approvals. The Board, with your guidance, aims to raise the remaining $121K for groundbreaking this summer.

This new space is much more than a storage facility, and therefore we are calling the project the Complete the Farm campaign. The new building will allow us to store all of our equipment in one space with room to grow. This includes the antique farm machinery stored offsite. Additionally, by moving our onsite equipment to the new dedicated storage space, new spaces will open up across the farm for workshops, events, and programming.

The building was designed to be reminiscent of the 1920s–1930s era and adds to the farm aesthetic of Schumacher Farm. The lean-to will provide educational opportunities with a rotating display of antique machinery. The renderings below will give you an idea of what this completed project will look like (click on each image to enlarge in a pdf version).

We have raised $210k of the $331k (63%) needed, but we need your help to complete this fantastic project! Please consider making a donation today:
